Robert qualified as a CPA in November 1985 and became a partner in the practice as Wallace Duffy & Co. In June 1992 he left the practice to set up and run the company DB (Computer Solutions) Ltd. In September 1996 he sold his interest in the company and commenced a consultancy business providing financial and computer consultancy services to businesses in the mid-west. This lead to the acquisition of A1 Computer Training in early 2000. The company was turned around and sold on at a profit in September 2001.

Given his experience in the setup and nurturing of businesses in the real world, Robert feels that he can offer invaluable advice and knowledge to any budding and established entrepreneurs in the set-up and running of their businesses.
